Setting the restricted viewing to ´yes´ will allow the news article or blog post to be restricted to specific user categories. This will prevent users in any category other then those checked from viewing the article.

This is useful for organizations wishing to disseminate specific news that may be of an internal nature to only authorized users. It can also be used to tailor specific news articles to various groups of users specific to their interests.

If no user categories are defined in the system - this option is not available.
