The user category system allows you to group users into as many different categories as necessary.

Categories are used throughout the XDe system to define who can view certain items as well as for mailing lists and to group users for various reports.

Each user can belong to up to 3 different categories. This has found to be sufficent thus far - but if the need arises it could be increased to accommodate aditional categories / user.
