The only way to select the file you wish to upload is by clicking the browse button next to the file field. You will be presented with a file select window and you will need to locate the file on your computer, and select the file.

Once selected you will be returned to the file-upload form and the poath (on your computer) to that file will be displayed in the file field. Nothing has been uploaded at this point!

Click Upload File to start the upload process. Depending on the size of the file and the speed of your connection this may take a while. Once complete you will be returned to the list of files on the server. Check to ensure your file was uploaded - this system may present a message (near the top of the page) if there was a problem.

Common Problems

• File too large: many servers have a limit for filesize.
• Write Access: on the server not correctly configured - ie: you do not have access to upload to the path you selected.
• Illegal Filetype: based on your web site preferences the type of file may not be allowed (see your site options for the list of allowed types)
