If this navigation item is to appear in a sub-menu then select the parent item (the one from which the menu is associated) If you have already clicked an Add ... Sub Item then the parent will be set automatically.

You can also use the parent selection to move an item within the system. Change it´s parent to move it to another menu or select "-none-" to place the item on the main navigation bar.
