The cache policy for this page controls what type of page views will use the cache. When set to Everyone then all users will use the caching system, if set to Guest Only then only visitors that are not logged into the site will have the potential to see a cached copy.

The reason for the distinction is that caching highly interactive pages that include content specific to individual users forces the system to keep separate copies of the page for each distinct user. This may be inefficient. Whereas all guests will always see the same content so in many cases it will make more sense to only cache the page for guests.

The default is to cache for everyone.
