Excuse me, did you loose this $30,000.00?

Now I´m going to keep the identiy of the customer out of this - to protect the innocent - but I just found out that one of the modules I wrote form my XDe web development environment has located a $30,000 accounting oversight for that customer - it´s a pretty good feeling when your work pays off like that!

I´m not going to go into detail here - not even going to mention the module that found the error to ensure I´m not giving anything away - but basically it was keeping some of the same records that were in their accounting system. The two sets dissaggreed and we did some investigations to find that the module had it right and the accounting software was out by About $30K - not small potatoes for anyone and only a fraction of the cost of the module...
