Had a night run sailing north until about midnight when the wind dropped and we lowered sail motoring past Nanaimo around 330 hours when the wind picked up again. Set courses and square topsail and sailed at 7 knots up Malaspina Straight under a southerly breeze, arriving alongside the Pacific Grace around 1130 hours at Savary Island on Saturday, July 29th. Had a great soccer game against Team Grace and remained at anchor in the lee of Savary Island for the night. We are now underway by motor to Teakerne Arm for the day and will head north through the īrapidsī when the tide is right.
